Radisson Blu Hotel Uppsala : The Scandinavian chain of hotels Radisson Blu opened its new Radisson Blu Hotel Uppsala in May 2012. Adjacent to the city's railway station it has Stockholm-Arlanda International Airport within 20 minutes travel distance by train. The hotel accommodates 185 rooms and suites, terraces, 7 meeting rooms, a restaurant and a gym / sauna with terrace. Parent company Winn Hotels (part of Carlson Rezidor) calls its new Radisson Blu Uppsala the flagship of the company.

Stockholm Globen (Sweden) : Stockholm Globen (officially Ericsson Globe) is the biggest dome shaped building of the world. The diameter is 110 meter, the height 85 meter. It was designed by Berg Arkitektkontor of Stockholm and opened in february 1989 as a principally ice hockey arena. Since then many other events including concerts have taken place in Globen. In february 2010 the Globen Skyview opened, two funicular trains (Gondolen) bring you to the top of the ball.
